Polish Professionals in London - Political Section organized a meeting with MP Daniel Kawczynski. The lead theme of the  meeting was:

"Are the representatives of Polish immigrant community going to be active on British political scene? - The art of effective lobbying"

Daniel Kawczynski is a Conservative Member of Parliement for Shrewsbury and Atcham as of May 2005. Son of Polish immigrants, graduated from University of Stirling, former head of University Conservative Association. He is a member of prestigious Agricultural Select Committee (Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs).

The meeting took place on 29th April 2008 in the offices of Polish Professionals in London.

Polish Professionals in London we współpracy ze Zjednoczeniem Polskim w Wielkiej Brytanii zainicjowało kampanię profrekwencyjną "Polacy głosują". Celem akcji jest zachęcenie rodaków mieszkających w Anglii do rejestracji na listach wyborczych oraz do oddania głosu w wyborach 1 maja. Kampania jest całkowicie bezstronna i nie promuje żadnego kandydata ani parti politycznej.

Coaching Workshop delivered by an experienced psychologist - Halina Brunning at the University of East London

Last meeting before the summer holidays. Our website as well as internal portal were introduced to members.

We benefited from enjoyable May weather and met at Hyde Park. Some of us played badminton or rollerbladed, while others focused more on beer & barbecue.
